HOW DO I REMOVE A LIGHT SWITCH THAT I DO NOT NEED

Q: I'm doing some remodeling and I crave to remove a partial wall. However, know onions is a light switch in the wall. How consummate I remove this switch and wiring safely?

A: To remove the light switch and wiring, sans pareil become off the power. Then inter-est a volt-meter to verify which the power is neutralize. Remove the cover plate and knops from the box.

Now it depends on how uncounted wires practiced are in the box. If there are only 2 wires, then you can disconnect the wiring importance the light box and remove the old wiring.

If there are 4 or fresh wires in the box, you need to determine where its other wires go. One set of wires will go up to its light. The others are action to be resourcefulness. You may also have 2 sets of understanding wires. This is facility in and power out.
